Candle Care Instructions

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience with your candle, especially those adorned with dried flowers and small gemstones, please follow these care tips:

Trim the Wick:
- Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent excessive flame height, soot, and uneven burning.
First Burn:
- Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface (about 2-3 hours) on the first burn. This prevents tunneling and promotes an even burn.
Safe Placement of Embellishments:
- While our candles are carefully crafted with small amounts of dried flowers and gemstones, ensure these embellishments remain clear of the flame. This minimizes the risk of fire hazards or debris falling into the wax.
Burn Time:
- Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish, let it cool, and trim the wick before relighting.
Surface and Safety:
- Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, pets, and children.
Extinguishing the Candle:
- Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame, avoiding hot wax splatter, especially around embellishments.
Storage:
- Store candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to maintain the fragrance and appearance of the dried flowers and gemstones.
